Description
Sudoku to play at your own pace, without rushing and without ads. Tap a cell and then a number. Numbers that are already filled in cannot be changed. The numbers range from 1 to 9 on the classic board. On the smaller boards, they range from 1 to 4 or to 6. No number can be repeated in a row, column, or box (the thick-lined boxes). Use “Notes” to jot down in pencil the numbers you think might work. When you enter a number, it’s removed from the notes for its row, column, and box. “Clear” clears a cell, and “Undo” reverts to the previous move. “Hint” places the correct number in a cell. A puzzle solved with hints doesn’t count toward your best time. Three grids: 4×4 to start, 6×6 medium, and the classic 9×9. Easy: Each cell can be deduced by looking only at which numbers fit in it. Normal: You also have to figure out where each number fits in a row, column, or box. Hard: There are fewer clues, and you have to think more critically. Mistakes are highlighted in red immediately, if you choose. You can turn this off. The row, column, and box of the selected square—as well as matching numbers—are highlighted. A number that has already been placed in all its correct positions is grayed out on the keyboard. A timer with a pause function that hides the board. The game saves automatically and resumes where you left off. Profiles, showing your solved puzzles, your best time, your average by size and difficulty level, and your winning streak.
